Cell Imaging:

Cell imaging, such as live or fixed cell imaging, is a powerful analytical tool for studying cell biology, neurobiology, and pharmacology. Fluorescence microscopy is a powerful approach to visualize cellular protein, morphology, and cytostructure and understand the biological processes of biomolecules and the dynamic cellular processes of cells. Researchers use various methods for imaging cells, from phase-contrast microscopy that shows intact cells to fluorescent imaging of single molecules or organelles. Cellular analysis is performed to evaluate and measure the current state of cells, such as cell integrity, cellular protein expression, toxicity, viability, and various other research applications.

Gene Expression Analysis:

Genome-wide and targeted at specific gene subsets, it has played a vital role in improving our understanding of the genetic attributes of stem cells through the identification of molecular signatures that characterize cell function. Gene expression is highly recommended when verifying cell purity, heterogeneity, and functional activity. We can extract RNA and analyze samples to determine mRNA levels (specific gene of your interest) using qPCR.

DNA Extraction And Purification:

The DNA extraction process involves cell lysis to release nucleic acids and the inactivation of cellular nucleases (DNases and RNases) to prevent degradation of nucleic acids, which is highly tedious work. The purification process is the separation of the nucleic acids from the other components. Both processes are critical to determining genomic and/or plasmid DNA in the sample quantities your research requires.

Purifying your DNA samples from contaminants also extends their shelf-life and reduces the probability of error regarding research results.

Western Blot:

Western blotting is a laboratory technique to detect a specific protein in cell lysate, blood, serum, or tissue sample. The method involves using gel electrophoresis to separate the sample’s proteins. The separated proteins are transferred from the gel to the surface of a membrane and visualized as a band, which is determined by the molecular weight of the protein. Cell culture materials, mainly stem cell lysate, need a gentle process; otherwise, cellular protein can degrade quickly. We have in-house protein purification and Western blot method to provide a higher protein concentration and high-resolution blot without any background.
